If your idea of the perfect run is one that ends with crabfries and beer (because duh), you’ll be happy to hear that the Chickie’s and Pete’s Boardwalk Run is making its way back to Atlantic City for the third year on Saturday, August 20th.

The timed out-and-back 5K race, contained on the AC boardwalk, starts at the Tropicana Casino at 8 a.m. and ends back there with a beach beer garden party, complete with live music and beach games. And about the crabfries and beer: At the finish line, each participant gets an order of Chickie’s and Pete’s crabfries along with a Yeungling Light Lager to wash ’em down (given you’re of drinking age). Registration also gets you a race shirt and a souvenir mug.

The race is limited to 2,000 runners and registration opened this morning, so if you want in, hop to it! Registration will cost you $40, with a portion of the proceeds going to Archway Programs. You can find more info and register here.
