Looking for the perfect way to welcome spring weather back into your running routine? Wave goodbye to the frosty chill and say hello to spring with Philadelphia Runner’s Springtime on the Schuylkill Fun Run and Potluck. This run will knock out your cardio for the day AND satisfy your post-run appetite with a potluck picnic at the Art Museum’s Azalea Garden.

The event, which brings running groups from all over the city together, begins at Lloyd Hall, where runners will split up into pace and distance groups. Runners will then make their way along a car-free MLK Drive (yay!), eventually making their way back to the Azalea Garden behind the Art Museum for a community potluck. Food and drink is BYO, so don’t forget to bring a basket full of your favorite re-energizing grub for a communal brunch.

The event starts at 9 a.m. in front of Lloyd Hall and welcomes everyone — whether you’re part of a running group or not — to join in. If you’re an interested running group, make sure to contact Philadelphia Runner to register. You can find out more about the fun run here.
