Things that are making me happy this morning: The weather forecast predicting a high of 79 degrees today (!!), the Health-Ade Cayenne Cleanse kombucha I’m currently sipping on (the best), and the news that the Fairmount Park Conversancy’s guided trail-running series will be making a comeback this Saturday, with six dates on the roster through April.

The runs, led by either John Goldthorp of Fix Your Run or Alon Abramson of West Philly Runners (and Be Well Philly workout tester extraordinaire), will take you through three to six miles — your choice —  of the sometimes muddy, always pretty Belmont Plateau and Chamounix trails.

The guided trail runs will be held on Saturday or Sunday mornings at 9 a.m. and they are free for Fairmount Park Conservancy members (membership is $35 for the year), or $10 if for non-members. You can learn more and sign up here.
