Can you believe the Philadelphia Marathon is just five days away? If you’re running it, you’re probably taking it pretty easy right about now, with short, easy runs just to keep you loose. The Philadelphia Marathon wants to help on that front this year, with a pre-race shake-out run on Friday during your lunch break.

The group, led by the Philadelphia Marathon LEGacy Runners — i.e. runners who have at least 15 (!!) Philly Marathons under their belts — will gather at the Art Museum steps at 1 p.m. The group will run out along Kelly Drive and back for a total of about 20 minutes — an easy two(ish)-miler. While you run, feel free to chat up some of the marathon veterans and pick their brains about everything you want to know ahead of race day. (Or, you know, you can see our massively comprehensive Philadelphia Marathon Guide.)

The shake-out run is free, but RSVPs are happening over on Facebook.
