Get in the Holiday Spirit (Yes, Already!): Run the Lights at Shady Brook Farm

I know, I know: It seems crazy to even begin thinking about the holiday season right now. But as many a-PR person has been eager to remind me lately, there are only seven (!!!) weekends left in 2015. That’s right: You’ll be clinking champagne glasses and ringing in the new year before you know it. So at the risk of jumping the gun (except, not really), I wanted to let you know about the upcoming Run the Lights run happening at Shady Brook Farm.

It’s the third-annual event, and it sounds like tons of fun. While most people view the lights from their cars, as you can see in the video above (booooring), 2,500 runners will get to be up close and personal with the three million festive lights illuminating acres of farmland as part of Shady Brook’s Holiday Light Show. The two-mile run takes place on Friday, November 20th, which is the very first night that the lights will be turned on. The race is chip-timed, and runners will receive t-shirts and reusable LED foam light sticks.

It’s $25 to participate, and you need to register by November 17th. Shady Brook Farm is located at 931 Stony Hill Road in Yardley. All the details about the run are here.
