New Race Coming to Philly: Jack Daniel’s Hot Toddy 5K

Registration is now open.

From the same group that organizes the Chickie’s & Pete’s Boardwalk 5K in Atlantic City and the Yuengling Oktoberfest 5K in Bethlehem, we now have a new food-and-drink (but mostly drink)-fueled race: the just-announced Jack Daniel’s Hot Toddy 5K, taking place on December 6th.

The timed race will kick off at 10:30 a.m., starting and ending at Xfinity LIVE! The course is an easy loop around Citizens Bank Park and the Wells Fargo Center. All participants will receive a long-sleeved race shirt, insulated Jack Daniel’s Hot Toddy 5K reusable mug, and a free hot toddy made with your choice of Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Fire, Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey or Jack Daniel’s Original No 7.

It’s priced at $40 for entry, and the event will be capped at 3,000 runners. There will be prizes for top overall and age-group finishers. More info and registration are happening here.
