Philadelphia Runner Is Offering Discounts to #RuntoWorkPHL Runners Until 2 P.M. Today!

Ok, so here’s your lunch break plan, if you ran to work today: First hit up Sweetgreen for your free salad. Then, make a pit stop at any of the area’s Philadelphia Runner locations, where you can score 20 percent of purchases through 2 p.m. this afternoon.
They’re running the special for run-commuters today, in celebration of everyone who woke up, laced up their shoes, and hoofed it to the office for Philly’s second annual Run to Work Day. All you need to do is show the cashier at any of the Philly Runner stores a run-commute photo you snapped and posted to Instagram using the hashtag #RuntoWorkPHL. Coincidentally, that’s also how you’ll be scoring your free salad at Sweetgreen, and the same photo will get you entered into the #RuntoWorkPHL hashtag contest — for which there are some pretty sweet prizes — so you’re basically getting extra, extra, extra mileage out of the same photo. Brilliant!
You’ll find Philadelphia Runner stores in Center City, Manayunk, West Philly and Glen Mills. Oh and by the way, when I was at Philly Runner Center City this morning for our pre-work runners’ party (which was PACKED by the way) I spotted an overflowing rack of running gear marked 50 percent off. I’m told that the Run to Work discount applies to these purchases, too.
