Well, this is pretty stinkin’ awesome. In addition to our pre-work runners’ party, which we’ll tell you about in a bit (Spoiler: We’ll be showering you with free food and drink from Mamma Chia, Bai5, Trader Joe’s and more), we just received word that the fine folks at Sweetgreen are offering free salads to anyone who participates in Run to Work Day on Friday. How’s that for incentive?

All you need to do is run to work (duh), snap a photo or sweaty selfie during your run commute, and share it on Instagram or Twitter (or both!) using the hashtag #RuntoWorkPHL. Then, head on over to any of the three Philly-area Sweetgreen locations and show the cashier your photo. Boom — free salad for you.

You’ll find Sweetgreen in University City (3925 Walnut Street), Washington Square West (924 Walnut Street) and Ardmore (68 Coulter Avenue). And if you’re looking for an ordering recommendation, go for the Spicy Sabzi: organic baby spinach, shredded kale, spicy quinoa, spicy broccoli, raw beets, carrots, sprouts, basil, roasted organic tofu, Sriracha and a carrot chili vinaigrette. We can’t get enough.

Pssst! Don’t forget: If you’re participating in #RuntoWorkPHL, head on over to Facebook to RSVP for the event. That way you’ll get all the Run to Work Day updates in one place.
