Get your calendars out guys because there’s a sweet 5K coming to our neck of the woods, and this time, it doesn’t involve paint or mud or obstacles — it involves underwear.

That’s right: On Saturday, September 12th, the Undy Run/Walk, wherein you run in your undies, is coming to Philadelphia. The Colon Cancer Alliance holds this 5K every year to raise money to improve colon-screening programs, increase national prevention and awareness, and put toward research. Runners will take on this 5K while sporting their favorite boxers or briefs over their running gear to show support for colon cancer patients and victims.

All ages are welcome and you can gather up your friends and run as a team or you can take on the race solo. Youngsters can show their support in a 1-mile fun run happening right after the 5K runners are finished. Registration is $30 (ages 14 and up) or $25 (ages six through thirteen), and kids under five are free. Registration includes a pair of awesome boxer shorts (score!) and an educational stroll through a giant inflatable colon. Seriously.

The race will kick off at Martin Luther King Drive next to the Art Museum and runners should get there around 7:30 a.m. You can find out more about the race here.
