A big round of applause to everyone who came out to the very first sweat session of Be Well Philly’s Summer’s Yoga Flow, our free summer yoga series, at the Comcast Center Outdoor Plaza last night! (And a big thank you to the weather gods for not raining all over our yoga mats, too.) We can’t think of a better way to end a workday than with downward dogs in the sunshine, and we’re glad you all feel the same.

And we can’t forget to thank the fabulous instructors from DIG Yoga — Mariel, Lisa and Nathaniel — for leading us in an awesome post-work workout and for dealing with sound system difficulties like total pros. (Of course, we couldn’t have the first class of our summer yoga series go off without a hitch — it would just be too good to be true.) Even if you wanted to crawl into a ball and die during those forearm plank holds, we’re sure you’re thanking Mariel for making you do them now.

Last but certainly not least, big ups to Sprint and Naked Juice for being there and for providing us with the perfect post-workout refreshments. Beet juice has never tasted so good.

If you missed it this week, no worries: We’ll be teaming up with DIG Yoga at the Comcast Center Outdoor Plaza every Tuesday at 6 p.m. through August 25th, so you’ve got plenty of opportunities to join in on the fun which you can catch a glimpse of in our photo recap below.
