Because racing in the July heat is only worth it if there's a celebration at the finish line.

There’s nothing like a celebration after an exhilarating race, and the Road Runners Club of Woodbury’s fourth annual Hot Run in the Summertime 5K promises to have quite the post-run celebration — beer and barbecue included.

The 5K route, which starts near Woodbury Station Café at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 25th, will take you through the scenic east end of Woodbury, New Jersey. You’ll finish at the café and dig in to a cookout — including one complimentary beer and all-you-can-eat hot dogs, hamburgers, sides, and salads — while a DJ provides the tunes. Participants also get a t-shirt with registration.

Register here before July 20th to take advantage of the early-bird price of $30. You’ll be glad to know that a portion of your entry fee will go to Operation Warm, a charity that provides new coats to local kids in need.
