If Center City Sips isn’t your idea of a Wednesday well spent (because the crowds and the inevitable hangover), we’ve got the perfect weekly alternative for you: Manayunk’s GoalsFit is offering a new five-week fitness class, held every Wednesday night in July at Washington Square Park. The name of the class? Center City Sprints. Read on for the details.

Every Wednesday throughout July, Center City Sprints will meet at Washington Square park at 6 p.m. for 45 minutes of calorie-burning plyometrics and seriously high-intensity sprinting. Trainer Kasey Manwaring, owner of GoalsFit, promises you results you will see and feel after the five weeks. If you want to grab one of only 25 spots in the class, you can register here. The full five weeks will run you $60.

Not so sure you want to sign on for the whole five weeks yet? There will be a free trial class this Wednesday, June 24th, so you can see if it’s for you (and get a great free workout to boot). To join in, meet at Philadelphia Runner’s Center City store at 5:45 p.m. or Washington Square Park at 6. You can learn more about the class here.
