Let’s all give it up for Cecily Tynan: As some of you probably remember, she tore her ACL back in January during a nasty ski accident. But six months later, after 17 weeks of rehab, looks like the 6abc meteorologist is back in good shape.

As she posted to Facebook earlier today, “After 2 weeks of prehab and 17 weeks rehab after ACL surgery, my physical therapist officially discharged me today. Woo-hoo! … Glad to be back running and doing NEARLY all my favorite activities … I hope to be back racing in the fall. Good luck to everyone else with ACL injuries. It’s not easy, but you can get through it with hard work and determination.”

So looks like Tynan won’t be on doling out water come fall race season like she was during the Broad Street Run — she’ll be pounding the pavement alongside the rest of you!
