Well, here’s some feel-good news for your Friday: CoreFitness offers any and all of their fitness classes — from boot camp, to yoga, to hills and drills — for free to Philly firefighters and police officers all the time. How awesome is that?

As CoreFitness founder Gina Mancuso told me, all Philly firefighters and police offices have to do to get in on the free-class action is contact her to initiate a free membership (You can reach her at gina@core-fit.com or 215-421-7856), then show up to a class whenever, and however often, they’d like. And there are plenty of classes to choose from: CoreFitness holds classes at the Art Museum Steps or Water Works pretty much every day. You can check out the full schedule here.

As Philly police officer Ryan Barksdale says, “I really enjoy meeting and working out with the people in the class. Everyone is motivated, friendly, helpful, energetic and, most importantly, has a positive attitude. I look forward every day to training with the guys and girls of CoreFitness. It really has changed my life.” I’d call that a rave review.

So, if you’re a Philly police officer or firefighter, what are you waiting for? Take CoreFitness up on the their offer. And if you know a Philly police officer or firefighter, spread the word.
