As everyone who joined in on last night’s Be Well Philly Underground event knows, the folks at Unite Fitness are awesome. So imagine my excitement when I got an email from MSC Retail saying the fitness studio, which currently has two locations, is looking for 3,000 to 4,000 square-foot spaces to expand in both Center City and the Main Line. After I squealed for a second, I reached out to Unite Fitness owner Gavin McKay to see what he could tell us.

McKay says they are indeed looking for spaces in both Center City and the Main Line for two new locations slated to open later this year. “We don’t have real estate lined up for a lease for either location, so no locations to announce yet. But we do have page up for the Main Line studio, where people can submit their emails to get info as we have it.” You can find that here.

McKay says they’re hoping for a before-the-New-Year opening date for the Center City spot, and a fall 2015 opening for the Main Line gym, which will be a franchise location. Until then, you can get your sweat on with them at their Midtown Village and Mount Laurel gyms.
