UPDATE 4/23: P.S. & Co. will actually be holding their weekly free yoga classes in their outdoor garden, on Schubert’s Alley behind the cafe, instead of in Rittenhouse Square, due to permit issues. Info for the run club and kickboxing classes remains the same.

ORIGINAL: P.S. & Co. isn’t just good for delicious gluten-free, vegan treats: Starting in May, the Rittenhouse cafe will be hosting free yoga in Rittenhouse Square every Wednesday, and they’ll have a free run club (dogs very welcome!) every Thursday. Awesome, right?

Here’s the deal: All of these sweet free fitness shindigs are actually smaller pieces of P.S. & Co.’s kickboxing boot camp, which kicks off on May 5th. They’ve teamed up with Control Kickboxing to bring folks 10 weeks of training, with three kickboxing conditioning classes each week, plus yoga and the run club to supplement training.

The kickboxing boot camp as a whole will run you $350, for a total of 30 classes. But weekly yoga, held in Rittenhouse Square every Wednesday at 6 p.m. starting May 6th, along with the run club, which will meet at P.S. & Co. on Thursdays at 6 p.m., are both free to anyone and everyone.

And if you are fostering a dog, make sure to bring them along for the runs! Post-run, runners who bring foster or shelter dogs will get to refuel with $20 worth of grub, courtesy of the cafe, as a thank you for getting the pups out for some much-needed exercise. And the dogs will get treats, too, of course. And if you just want to bring your own dog along, that’s fine, too — just no free food involved.

The free yoga and group runs will run through July 9th. You can find out more info on the kickboxing boot camp, yoga, and runs here.
