The time is near, friends: Philly’s brand spankin’ new bike share program, Indego, is a comin’. And while you won’t be able to get into the saddle until April 23rd, you can sign up for a membership starting today.

Word to the wise: If you’re counting down the days until you start commuting by bike share, you’re going to want to sign up ahead of time. After you sign up online, you will have to wait about a week for your Indego key, which gives you access to actually use the bike share, to arrive.

The price to sign up is $15 for a monthly membership, which covers all rides under an hour (rides over an hour will cost you $4 per hour), or $10 for an annual membership, where you’re charged $4 for every hour you ride. You can check out a map of all the bike share stations throughout the city here, and sign up to be a member here.
