Second Date Added for Sold-Out Chili Run

Attention, you who were shut out of the sold-out Chili Run on January 25th: Organizers have scheduled a date for a second Chili Run to meet the demand of the region’s chili-obsessed runners. (How nice of them!)

The run, which debuted last year to much acclaim, is a chip-timed two-mile race that takes place in Pitman, New Jersey. Runners receive long-sleeve tech shirts, entrance to an after party with live music at Carolina Blue Smokehouse and Tavern, and, naturally, free chili and a beer at the end. Awards are given to the top overall male and female winners and age-group winners. There are also team awards.

The January 25th date sold out rather quickly, so they are now running a second race on February 8th. The run costs $35. It starts at 10 a.m. and starts at 10 a.m. at 692 Lambs Road in Pitman.
