Just a quick heads up if you’re planning on participating in this Thursday’s South Philly Holiday Lights Run (#3 on our December event picks): Philadelphia Runner will be hosting a pre-run run (Got that?) to help you get to the starting area.

At 6:30 p.m., a group will leave from PR’s Center City store (16th and Sansom) to head to Broad and Oregon for the 7 p.m. start of the Holiday Lights Run. It’s a 2.5-mile jog from the shop, so consider it a nice warmup. (You’ll need it—it’s going to be in the low 30s that night. Brrrr!)

No need to RSVP for the pre-run; just be sure to get to the shop by 6:30.
