Our pal HughE Dillon has sleuthed out some pretty interesting news about an organic grocery store coming to the Stapler Building at 12th and Walnut. He snapped a photo of a sign in the window, which tells us that the store will be called Everything Fresh. HughE describes it as “Whole Foods but smaller.”

Interesting, right? What’s curious is that there isn’t much online—no website or social media that we could find—except for a job posting for the Philly store. Here’s what the want ad tells us:

1. Expect lots of organic options: “Everything Fresh is a new grocery store that is small in size but BIG on organic and value.”

2. This appears to be the store’s first (and only) location: “This is a new concept store.”

3. There will be prepared foods: “[Team members may assemble] sandwiches and salads for our prepared foods counter.”

The store will occupy a 16,000-square-foot retail space, according to the real estate listing. For comparison, that’s 6,000-square-feet larger than the DiBruno Bros. on Chestnut Street, so it’s not insignificant as far as a city grocer goes. Check out HughE’s post for more details.
