Just a quick reminder, now that the weather and leaves are changing and trail runs are in order, that there’s a group trail run happening in West Fairmount Park this weekend.

It’s part of the series, hosted by the Fairmount Park Conservancy, that we told you about back in July. The six-mile run on Saturday at 9 a.m. will take place in the Belmont Plateau and Chamounix trails, exploring a part of the park you’ve probably not run in before. The run will be led by Best of Philly running coach John Goldthorp. And if you can’t figure out how to get out to West Fairmount Park, there’s a carpool option from Center City.

The run is free for Fairmount Park Conservancy members and $10 of everyone else. Sign up here.
