New NBC Weight-Loss Reality Show for Couples Casting in Philly

If you’ve always wanted to be on a show like The Biggest Loser, pay attention. We just got word that a casting team will be in town on Saturday, September 13th, to interview potential contestants for a new NBC weight-loss show called Weight for Love. It’s aimed at couples who each have at least 100 pounds to lose and who want to work together to shed the weight.

The casting team will set up camp at the Shops at Liberty Place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. You have to be 21 years or older to participate, and you need to be in a relationship: married, engaged or in a long-term relationship. Casting producer DJ Feldman tells me Philly was selected as the only East Coast city to hold a casting event for this show, “so we’d really like to get the word out for those who could benefit in this kind of opportunity,” he says.  The other cities on the docket are Chicago, LA and Dallas.

You’re asked to attend the open call with your significant other. You should also bring a photo of yourself and your SO, and be sure to register online before you go.
