For all you Main Liners looking to get into running, Bryn Mawr Running Company is launching a running group geared toward beginners this fall. The seven-week training program, led by BMRC manager Kim Walsh, will include two group runs a week along the Radnor Trail. At the end of the seven weeks, you’ll be able to show off your hard work and progress by running the Amazing Race 5K on October 25th.

The group runs will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:15 a.m., and the first run will take place on September 9th. Each run will be an hour or so, plus drills and stretching. The cost to register is $70, which includes the fee for the 5K. There are plenty of other perks as well, like a 15 percent discount at BMRC, a free t-shirt and more. For more info or to register, call 610-527-5510 or go here.
