In preparation for the Rock ‘n’ Roll Half Marathon that’s coming up on September 20th, Balance gym has teamed up with Indigo Schuy to create the Rock Your Way to a 5K training program. There are four different training levels in the program, so whether you’re a newbie to the running trails or a more advanced runner focusing on speed, this program will help you to improve your running game in time for race day.
Kathy Murphy, the creator of the program, will be your coach, guiding you through six weeks of training, including runs through the trails of Chestnut Hill and training on the track. As part of the program, you will receive six free classes at Balance gym in Chestnut Hill, a 10 percent discount on the goods at Indigo Schuy, a discount when you sign up for the Rock ‘n’ Roll 5K, and a t-shirt. Not bad for just $75, huh?
The Rock Your Way to a 5K program will officially kick off with a group run (natch.) from Indigo Schuy on July 22nd at 6 p.m.. For more info or to sign up, contact Balance Chestnut Hill.
