Love Run 2015 Race Date and Registration Announced
The LOVE Run 2014
Despite less-than-ideal weather conditions, the first annual Love Run Half Marathon back in March was a big success, selling out at 10,000 runners. Now, for your early planning purposes, the race has released its 2015 date, and intel on when it will open for registration.
The Love Run will be held on Sunday, March 29, 2015, starting at 8 a.m. at Eakins Oval. Registration opens on August 22nd. There’s incentive to register early, too: 150 randomly chosen runners who sign up on the first day registration is available will get half off the entry fee.
No word yet on what that fee will be, but race director Michele Redrow tells me they’re bringing back many of the fun perks—vanity bibs, team competitions—and adding a finish line beer garden, with a free beer for every runner.
