Philadelphia Runner just released details of the pre-race bib pick-up procedures for the sold-out Philly 10K this September and, just like the rest of this debut race, it’s about as Philly as you can get.

Get this: Bib pick-up will happen at a block party-style bash at the Italian Market. Race organizers will set up in front of the Italian Market Visitor’s Center on Ninth Street near Christian to hand out bibs. Across the street, you’ll be able to pick up your race shirt and buy other Philly 10K merch, as well as Philadelphia Brewing Company’s specially brewed Philly 10K beer. Italian Market vendors will also be on hand selling food. Runners, spectators and, well, everyone is invited to come.

You can pick up your bib on Thursday, September 4th, from 5 to 8:30 p.m., or Friday, September 5th, from noon to 6 p.m. Food and drink vendors will be on hand both days.  Note: There will be no race-day bib pickup.
