I never thought I’d type the words “fried,” “chicken,” and “run” in succession, but there you have it, folks. The Fishtown Beer Runners are teaming up with the folks at Philly Beer Week for a the fourth annual Fried Chicken Run (I did it again!) on Saturday, May 31st.
The event includes a five-mile run starting at Philadelphia Brewing Company (2440 Frankford Avenue) in Kensington and ending at American Sardine Bar (1800 Federal Street) in Point Breeze. You’ll refuel after your run with American Sardine chef Scott Schroeder’s fried chicken and three Philadelphia Brewing beers. Holler: You’ll also get a T-shirt.
Tickets for the run are $35 and include the above perks; the run starts at 5 p.m. Get your ticket here.
