To Do: Sweat at Sly Fox Brewery’s Foxtrot 5K

Is there any better race than one that ends at a beer brewery? I’d argue the answer is no. If you agree, you will love Sly Fox Brewing Company’s Foxtrot 5K. The charity race, benefiting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Foundation, starts and ends at the popular Pottstown brewery. And boy, does it have a great ending: After sweating their faces off during the timed 5K, runners are invited to hang out at a day-long post-race party hosted by the brewery, complete with six food trucks, live music, and tons of beer on tap. Now, that’s my kind of race!

And it gets even cooler: Runners are welcome to upgrade to their bibs to VIP status. Post-run, the VIPs will go on a private tour of the brewery, enjoy a beer tasting and go home with some fabulous Sly Fox swag. Upgrading will run you $100, but it’s worth it: Every cent of the VIP ticket sales will go to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Foundation. VIP tickets are limited to 25, so if you want to snag a ticket, you’d better act fast.

You can get more info and register for the race here.

$40, May 17th, Race starts at 10 a.m. at Sly Fox Brewing Company, 331 Circle of Progress Drive, Pottstown.
