If you’re one of those people who’s really good at quizzo (I, unfortunately, am not), check this out: The just-minted RaceSmart Challenge trivia race is coming to Philly in August, and there are cash prizes at stake for the winners.

Here’s how it works: Participants will sign up in teams of two to four people, and teammates will work together to solve trivia questions about Philly. The clues will take you, scavenger-hunt style, around the city to various checkpoints, where you’ll be asked to complete physical challenges. In other words, this race tests your brainpower and physical prowess, so it’s a best-of-both-worlds situation.

The race date is August 9th, and the location of the starting line will be announced two weeks before race day. The race area is contained in Center City and participants should expect to cover between four and six miles. You can run the entire thing (do it!) or use public transportation. First place gets $250, second place gets $175 and third place gets $100.

Entry is currently priced at $30, but will rise as race day approaches. Be Well readers can get $15 off the entry fee with the code PhillyRacesSmart. More info is here.
