Reminder: Free Outdoor Yoga Starts This Weekend

Just a friendly reminder that free outdoor yoga classes at the Schuylkill Banks and Race Street Pier start this weekend. And it’s perfect timing, too, since we’re looking at temps in the 60s with lots of sun. Weee!

Here’s what you need to know.


Yoga on the Pier
When: Saturday and Sunday at 9:30 (Note: People start gathering around 9, but the instructor says they don't usually start until 9:30 or so); Monday, Tuesday and Friday at 7 a.m.;  and Thursdays at 6 p.m. First class is Saturday, April 5th.
Where: Race Street Pier at Columbus Boulevard and Race Street. In case of rain, classes will be held at Level 1 Fitness (110 North Second Street).
Instructor: Dhyana Yoga's Malik Wilson and other instructors.

Yoga on the Banks
*Classes are free, but donations will be accepted. 
When: Saturdays at 11 a.m. First class is Saturday, April 5th.
Where: By the Schuylkill River at 25th and Locust.
Instructor: Molly O'Neill, Dhyana Yoga and Sweat Fitness.

Both classes are bring your own mat, so come prepared. And try to get there early to snag a good spot.
