Discount Code for Spartan Race Obstacle Challenge

When the folks over at the Spartan Race emailed earlier this week asking if I would like a discount code to share with Be Well readers, I felt I wouldn’t be doing my duty if I turned them down. And so here it is.
If you’re planning to run any of the upcoming Spartan Races this year—there are two in July in the Poconos, and one at Citizens Bank Park in September—you can score 15 percent off entry by registering through this secret portal.
For the uninitiated: The Spartan Race, created by ultra athletes and a former marine, is a total-body test—with obstacles, duh—at various distances. The ones coming to our area are all Spartan Sprint races, which cover about three miles and include at least 15 obstacles. They never spill the obstacles ahead of time, but you can expect fire, mud, water, barbed wire and more.
If it sounds like your jam, the race dates are July 12th and 13th for the Blue Mountain races, and September 20th for the Philly race. Registration fees are tiered, so early birds will save the most cash.
