Ice cream lovers, take note: The third annual Uncle Dave’s Ice Cream Jog ‘n Hog will take place on July 20th this year, at Shady Brook Farm in Yardley—right smack dab in the middle of National Ice Cream Month.
The run includes a two-ish (more than 1.5 and less than two, so we’ll call it two-ish) mile run to a station loaded with Uncle Dave’s vanilla ice cream, where runners will eat either a quart or pint before returning back to the start with a gut full of dessert. The amount you eat depends on which “division” you enter: whole hoggers eat a quart, half hoggers eat a pint. Runners are encouraged to bring their own toppings—some get creative by filling their water bottles with rainbow sprinkles, for example—and to wear costumes.
Registration is $30 for whole hoggers and $27 for half hoggers through the end of April. Register and find out more here.
