Well, geez! I didn’t think it could get any better than six days of free yoga every week at Race Street Pier, but it totally just did. Malik Wilson, the Dhyana Yoga teacher who helms the Race Street program, just told me they’re also running free (donations welcome) yoga classes on the Schuylkill Banks, starting April 5th.

The Schuylkill Banks classes will take place on Saturdays at 11 a.m. on the trail near 25th and Locust. They’ll run every weekend until daylight savings this fall—so that’s a LOT of yoga, people. The classes will be led by instructor Molly O’Neill. “We plan on making it an experience this year with local brunch and happy hour specials, as well as picnics and Acro yoga after classes,” says Malik. AND IT JUST GOT BETTER AGAIN.

Malik says he is working on a Facebook page to post updates about all the free yoga shenanigans, so I’ll add it here when it’s ready. Meantime, mark your calendar for—oh, geez, pretty much every day going forward for tons of free yoga awesomeness.
