To Do: Great Urban Race Scavenger Hunt

Think you know a thing or two about Philly? Put your know-how to the test at the upcoming Great Urban Race scavenger hunt on April 26th.

Here’s how it works: Teams will meet at noon at Finnigan’s Wake and be given a list of with 12 cryptic clues. You’ll have five hours to solve them, as you race around the city. (Don’t worry—you can use your smartphone to help you get around, and you can get from here to there on foot or on SEPTA.) At each stop around the city, you’ll have to perform mental or physical challenges. Once you’ve solved all the clues, you’ll head back to Finnigan’s Wake for an after party and awards ceremony. Prizes will be given out for best team costume, top fundraiser (funds go to St. Jude) and the top three finishing teams.

Sign up—and do it soon, as prices go up after March 1st—and get more info here.

$40 per person through March 1st, with increases to $75 after; April 26th starting at noon; Finnigan’s Wake, 537 North Third Street, Philadelphia.
