Fact: D.J. Tanner Loves Heavy Weight Lifting and Mud Runs


Hey, Full House fans. In case you were wondering what ever happened to the all-grown-up D.J. Tanner (c’mon, you know you were), it turns out she’s been lifting some serious weights.

The former Full House star, Candace Cameron Bure, recently dished to the website Chatelaine about all things fitness, including her workout routine and mud races:

“I usually go to the gym three days a week. I get there at 5 a.m. to get my workout in before my kids get up. I lift heavy weights for about 20 minutes and then do 30 minutes of cardio on an elliptical machine or a treadmill.”

“I also love getting dirty. In my profession it’s about looking great all the time. They’re pinning and taping clothes, and your hair can’t be out of place and makeup has to be perfect, but going through these mud pits I just want to dive in because it’s the opposite of all that. The dirtier the better.”

But I have to say, I’m not too surprised. After all, it ran in the family …
