Hey, Philly moms, allow me to be the bearer of good news: Our friends at Lithe Method announced yesterday that, starting next Wednesday, they’ll be offering babysitting at their Old City studio.
The babysitting service, run by Lithe owner Lauren Boggi’s personal nanny (who is CPR certified, in case you’re wondering), will be offered in studio during the 9:45 and 11 a.m. classes on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Lauren is calling it “bare-bones babysitting” because clients will get an hour of childcare that won’t include feedings or diaper changes and staffers won’t administer meds, either. What they will do is entertain your kids while you’re working out.
The cost is $7 per hour, and the studio can accommodate up to 10 kids, so it’s a first-come-first-served thing. Reservations are encouraged; call 215-625-4919 to save a spot.
