Raise your hand if you took tap classes as a kid. Now raise your hand if you wish you’d stuck with it through adulthood.

Well, my friends, here’s your chance to channel your inner Gene Kelly and Fred Astaire once again. Philly Dance Fitness is kicking off a fun new class called Tap Tonic, a tap-based fitness class, starting this Wednesday.

It’s suited for everyone from beginners to advanced tappers, with an emphasis on moving your body and working up a sweat. Tap shoes aren’t required, though you can wear them if you have them.

More info is here.

$12, Wednesdays from 8 to 8:50 p.m., Major Moment Studio, 1624 South Street, Center City.
