New 24-Hour Gym Coming to Passyunk Square

Passyunk Post had the skinny this week about a new 24-hour gym coming to 12th and Wharton in South Philly. Apparently the retail space in the Wharton Street Lofts building was rumored (well, hoped) to be future home of a Trader Joe’s, but the blog reports that the building’s owner says its slated for a national-chain gym. He won’t say which until the deal is officially inked.

The gym will join nearby Sweat Fitness and Fitness Works as the neighbhorhood’s primary sweating facilities.
