Spending a week night out on the town can be difficult to justify. I mean, what’s more important than watching Scandal and eating take-out Indian food, anyway? Well, l’ve got the perfect compromise for you! The Metta Movement party hosted by Lululemon Athletica Walnut Street and the Philadelphia non-profit GreenTreks gives you a short and sweet night out without sacrificing a cozy night in.

The event, which will take place on November 7th at the Fairmount Water Works Interpretive Center, is a two-hour long, fun-filled, educational charity event that won’t leave you exhausted for work the next day. All of the proceeds from the ticket sales will go directly to local charities and, as if that isn’t good enough, you actually get to help choose which charity you think deserves the money most!

Here’s how it works: There are three semi-finalist organizations, all of which support this year’s party theme of Next Generation Health. Throughout the event, you will learn a bit about the three groups: Urban Blazers, HYPE and Child Guidance Resource Center. Then, at the end of the night, you’ll cast your vote for the non-profit you think most deserves the Metta Movement support. In the end, all of the semi-finalists will get a cut of the night’s profits, but the winner will receive the largest portion. So, everyone wins!

$50, November 7th from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Fairmount Water Works Interpretive Center, 640 Waterworks Drive, Philadelphia.
