When Philly Mag wedding editor Carrie Denny emailed to ask if I would participate in an event that supports a breast-cancer organization, it was a no-brainer—like, duh, of course I’ll pitch in!

Turns out, the organization is Brides Against Breast Cancer, and through its events in cities across the country, it raises funds for the Center for Building Hope, a Sarasota, Florida-based organization that provides services, education and support to cancer patients and their families both in Florida and nationwide through its partners. In other words, they do some seriously cool stuff.

Carrie and I will be joining a team of guest bartenders at Brides Against Breast Cancer’s upcoming Headliners for Hope networking event and happy hour tonight, October 7th, at the Water Works. (And no, you don’t have to be a bride to attend!) We’ll be serving drinks and helping to raise cash for the cause. I hope you’ll join us for this terrific cause. I’d love to see you there! Scroll below to see all the details.
