Ready to have your mind blown? As of today, we’re only 85 days out from Christmas. I know, I know—where in the world has 2013 gone? Lucky for you, we’re only six days out from Philly Mag Shops, where you can quite possibly, juuuuuust maybe scratch a few people off your Christmas list early.

Philly Mag Shops is Philadelphia magazine’s cool new shopping event featuring in-season clothing and accessories from over 30 of Philly’s best boutiques and designers—at 40 percent off (!!). Lifestyle editor Emily Goulet has been working her butt off on this one, guys. She’s carefully curated the lineup of boutiques and designers so you’re guaranteed to get the best of the best at this one-day shopping extravaganza.

The fun's happening next Sunday, October 6th at Crane Arts (1400 North American Street, Philadelphia, in Kensington) from noon to 4 p.m. You'll also get cocktails and snacks, a gift bag, and gratis manis, hair braiding, makeovers and more—all for just $25 to get in the door. Cool, right?

This is even cooler: Emily has kindly offered to give one lucky Be Weller a pair of tickets to the event (women only—sorry guys! Oh, stop pouting. You'll be watching football, anyway.). All you have to do is a leave a comment below telling us where in the area you love to shop and you'll be entered to win. I'll pick a commenter at random this Wednesday at noon and notify you on this post and over email.

So tell us: What are your favorite shops in the Philadelphia region? Leave a comment for a chance to win tickets.

**UPDATE: And we have our winner, folks! Selected randomly from the commenters below, Michele has won a pair of tickets to Philly Mag Shops! Here's her comment:

Old City has great shops for new and vintage – love it!

  • Marina Kreminskaya

King of Prussia mall for all the great stuff :)
and South Jersey boutiques for something a little more unique!

  • Liz Grover

Wow, so hard to choose! We are very fortunate in Philly there are so many fine shops! Along chestnut street, the bourse, The shops at liberty place, .. This would be such an awesome girls day out! :) Need it :)

I love to shop along Walnut Street! Back in the day it used to be the Gallery!

  • Kara Keenan

I would say shopping at Philly’s great second-hand/vintage stores like Greene Street!

  • Rebecca

I happen to love a lot of the shops on South Street. Okay, not the cheap and tacky ones, but shops like Retrospect and so many of the record shops down there are really impressive!

  • Sara Fruithandler

King of Prussia mall is great when I have the time to drive out there but the convenient stores and shoppes in Center City along Walnut/Chestnut have terrific storefront entrances and organization! This sounds like a great holiday shopping spree!!

  • JC

I agree with Beth, Old City is the best for fun clothes and Walnut/Chestnut/Rittenhouse when there are good sales going on (like during the Rittenhouse Fall Fashion Crawl).

  • webhill

I like some of the funky shops on Germantown in Chestnut Hill.

  • Taffy Activewear

I love shopping all the exotic fabric and lush colors of “Colors by Padmini” at Material Culture!

  • phillynutt

My new favorite place is Passyunk Square – so many cool shops down there! From Nice Things… Handmade to (my favorite) Pollyodd, there are so many great shops to chose from when you are looking for the perfect gift. Also plenty of great restaurants, cafes and bars for when you need to refuel and recharge!

  • Andy

I just moved to Philly 7 months ago from North Carolina and am having fun discovering all the boutiques and unique shops around town. My favorite one so far is Lost and Found in Old City. I love to consign at Greene St. on South St. so I can afford to continue to shop for new clothes at Lost and Found :-).

Philadelphia Runner, Eastern Mountain Sports and Lululemon Athletica…as you can see I am a bit of a workout gear shopaholic. I cant get over how much better their clothes look and feel than any other fitness clothes I’d worn before plunging into this world of high-end running and yoga gear…Love the tops at Lulu…Pssss: they make me look like I have some legit cleavage;) Aside from fitness gear: Armani Exchange, Kenneth Cole and White House Black Market are my favorites.

I love all that Philly has to offer. I probably enjoy the Bourse the most!

  • Lisa

Smak parlour in old city! Their center city location was also a nice addition that I am hoping they make permanent.

I love walking through the shops in Rittenhouse, but rarely make any purchases, accept in City Sports, where I’m frequently racking up rewards coupons!
