• Looks like that body monitor you’ve so faithfully been sporting for the past three months may not be as precise as you hoped. A new study found that while devices like the FitBit, Jawbone Up and Nike Fuel Band are fairly good at figuring out your calorie burn when you do vigorous activity, they aren’t so good at crunching the numbers when you’re not moving around like crazy—like, say, when you’re working at your standing desk or doing light housework.
