To Do: Dirty Girl Mud Run in the Poconos

For those who want to take on a mud-drenched obstacle course

If you’ve done more 5K road races than you can count and are looking for more of a challenge, here’s an idea: the Dirty Girl Mud Run, a 5K obstacle course full of water pits, tunnels and slides covered in mud. This made-for-women event, which is making multiple stops across the U.S. this summer, will be in our area on June 22nd. If you want to know more about the course, the site is pretty extensive and even has a map of what the race will look like.

Although the ticket will cost you one whole Benjamin—which, yes, is admittedly steep—you do get swag, like a t-shirt and charm. More importantly, they claim, you’ll have “the time of your life.” Register here.

$100, June 22nd from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., 211 North Meckesville Rd, Albrightsville.
