To Do: ‘Walk a Mile in Her Shoes’ High-Heel Charity Walk for Norristown’s Laurel House Shelter

This event is all about having the highest heels—but if you think it’s for the ladies, think again.

Walk a Mile in Her Shoes is an international men’s high-heel walk (yes, the guys are supposed to wear the high heels) to protest gender violence, rape and assault that is coming to our area on May 4th. While ladies are welcome at the event, they are encouraged to wear flats or sneakers and leave the strutting to the men in heels. All proceeds will benefit the Laurel House Shelter of Norristown, which is dedicated to providing safe harbor for victims of abuse and their children. Find out more and register here.
