To Do: Bulldog Dash 5K

Join CBS Philly personality Ukee Washington and Romeo the Bulldog for a day of fun.

What do you get when you cross Catholic education, bulldogs, fitness and CBS Philly personality Ukee Washington? Normally, I’d say “um, sorry, nothing. Try again,” which is all the more reason to sign up immediately for Bryn Mawr Running Co.’s wildly unique first annual charity 5K run and 1K fun run, Bulldog Dash.

The run is being held to support for Catholic education at St. James Regional Catholic School, where educators are committed to giving students the tools, skills and guidance necessary to overcome challenges and flourish intellectually. Not good enough? (It should be.) The 5K/1K will also feature guest appearances by Mr. Washington, a native Philadelphian, and Romeo the Bulldog, the event’s mascot. I don’t know about you, but I’d go solely for Romeo. Learn more here and sign up here.

$30 for the 5K and $20 for the 1K, April 13th from 9 to 11:30 a.m., The Doghouse, 1499 East 9th Street, Eddystone.
