To Do: Jersey Shore Marathon and 10K

It’s like summer came early!

If I had to name my favorite place to run it would be the beach. There’s nothing better than breathing in the salt air and listening to the sound of the waves crashing while you sweat it out for miles. If you just caught yourself daydreaming, I’ve got a race for you: the Ocean Drive Marathon, a 26.2 mile run that takes participants to several Jersey Shore towns. Runners will start out in Cape May and travel through the Lower Township and over to the Wildwood Boardwalk. They’ll finish the run at the Promenade at Sea Isle City. If you’re not quite up for the full marathon, there are also 10K, 5K, and 1.5-mile fun-run options. Find out more and register here.

$100 for the marathon, $75 for the 10K, $35 for the 5K, and $10 for the fun run; Race day is March 24th at 9 a.m., Beach Avenue and Perry Street, Cape May.
