To Do: The Abominable Slowman 5K Series in Wayne

Yes, yes, you missed out on the first leg of this series’ three-stop tour (The inaugural race was on January 19th. Womp womp.), but that doesn’t mean it’s too late to get involved in the last two races of the Abominable Slowman 5K Series.

The last two chip-timed races take place on February 16th and March 17th on a wheel measured, traffic-free course through Wayne. It also has endless prize opportunities, including awards for overall male and female finishers, overall master male and female finishers, top finishers by age group, and some “special” awards that will not be released until race day (intrigue!). And if the competitive-edge isn’t your thing, not to worry—it’ll still be a party; the races also include a DJ, food, and kids’ fun runs.
