To Do: Broga—Yoga for Men—at Prancing Peacock in Bucks

Guys, get your yoga on starting tonight.

I knew it was only a matter of time. In March, I wrote about a new trend in yoga, something cutely dubbed ‘Broga,’ which is a yoga class made specifically for guys. It started in Massachusetts, but after being featured on MSNBC, I figured the fad would hit Philly soon enough.

The day has come: the Prancing Peacock yoga studio in Yardley is hosting a four-week Broga workshop kicking off tonight to help get guys into the practice. The made-for-men poses focus on increasing flexibility, muscle strength, endurance and stamina; reducing stress reduction; and creating a sense of well-being. In case you’re wondering, the workshop will be taught by a male instructor. Get more details and register here.

$108 for four weeks, Thursdays, May 17th through June 7th at 7:30 p.m., The Prancing Peacock, 524 Stony Hill Road, Yardley, 267-679-0791.
