It’s not too late to sign up for the Rock ‘n’ Roll Half Marathon on September 18th! In what has to be one of Philly’s most fun races, the course will be lined with indie rock bands like the Successful Failures and the Absolute Zeroes, along with the instrumental funk/jazz fusion band BAM, and many more. After the race, stick around for a free concert headlined by all-star rocker Bret Michaels.

Nervous about taking on 13.1 miles? The event organizers claim the course is “flat and festive…perfect for runners and walkers of all ability levels.”

$95, September 18th, 8 a.m., Benjamin Franklin Parkway.
