Lifeway Foods will be in town today giving away free samples of their tasty, probiotic-filled smoothies and kefir at the both the Whole Foods on South Street (929 South Street, from 11AM to 2PM) and the Whole Foods Callowhill location (2001 Pennsylvania Avenue, from 4PM to 7PM). You’ll also have a chance to hop on a “blender bike” and burn a few calories for a good cause. For every minute you pedal, Lifeway Foods will donate $1 to the Healthy Kids Challenge, which helps school, community, business, and health leaders take action for kids to eat, move, and enjoy a healthy balance.
